FactoryTalk Asking for User Name and Password after Computer Name Changed

Problem

FactoryTalk in RSView Studio asked for User Name and Password after computer name was changed.

Solution
Run FactoryTalk Directory Configuration Wizard in FactoryTalk Tools. It reconfigures the FactoryTalk directory with User Name “Administrator” and your original password (blank if no password).

1. Run FactoryTalk Directory Configuration Wizard in FactoryTalk Tools.
   
2. Select FactoryTalk Locak Directory

   

3. Use User Name “Administrator” and Original password (leave it blank if you did not use password).

   

4. Follow Prompt to finish the process
   

   

5. Now you can run RsView Studio
