How to backup iFix application

iFix is a product from General Electric (GE). It is part of GE’s intelligent platform. iFix is a SCADA and HMI product. iFix is used to create operator screen for manufacturing.

Problem

Need to backp iFix application for safe keeping.

Solution

iFix 5.5 does come with its own backup and restoring tool. This tool makes backup and restore simple.

1. Launch “Backup and Restore Wizard” from iFix directory
2. Select either full or custom backup. Then click backup button on the left (in red circle)
3. Enter file path and file name.
4. iFix application is backed up.
